Frankfurt-based Ponton has turned traditional campfires into stylish enclosed fireplaces for the home with designs by Wolf Udo Wagner. These urban reinterpretations with their flames dancing within a clear glass cylinder make for brilliant modern centerpieces for the home.
Inside the structure of stainless steel and fire-resistant glass, the Ponton Fireplaces burn on clean bio-alcohol for up to two and a half hours, making for reduced carbon emissions all around.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the Ponton Fireplaces measure 30 centimeters across, with two heights available. The Fireplace I is enclosed in a 40-cm glass column and is priced at 598 Euros (or US$888), while the Fireplace II comes in a 1 meter glass column with a price of 1,890 Euros (or US$2,807).
